Professional status:
In addition to high linguistic competence (level C2), the graduate of the second degree program has the basic skills necessary for working as a foreign language teacher. After graduation - depending on the chosen specialization module (English Philology or Russian Philology) - the graduate is prepared to work as an English/Russian language teacher. In addition, the graduate has a thorough knowledge of linguistics/applied linguistics, literary studies and cultural studies. He/she has the ability to integrate knowledge from various disciplines of the humanities and to apply it in typical and non-typical professional situations; he/she is able to solve professional problems independently and formulate opinions within the scope of the acquired competence. The graduate is characterized by his/her attitude of openness towards other languages and cultures.
