Preparation of a scientific article for publication 290-DP3-2PSAP
Scientific articles present the results of theoretical or experimental research in various fields. They play the role of knowledge exchange between working scientists and are a knowledge bank for the next generation. The quality of articles is maintained by the journal editors. Manuscripts which is badly written and are difficult to improve are rejected. So, it is important to write the the paper of high quality to be able to publish it in a journal.
In the seminar the features of good written paper are discussed.

Efekty kształcenia
After completing the course, the graduate:
1. in terms of knowledge, knows and understands:
- the mechanism of disseminating research results, also in open access mode (SD_WG05);
2. in terms of skills, is able to:
- knowing the current state of knowledge in the field of biology/chemistry/physics, define the aim and subject of research, formulate a research hypothesis and
select adequate methods and models for its testing (SD_UW01);
- disseminate research results in the form of scientific, popular science publications and public appearances (SD_UK02);
3. in terms of social competences, is ready to:
- critically analyze sources of scientific information and research results in the discipline of biological/chemical/physical sciences (SD_KK01);
- announce research results while respecting the principles of intellectual property protection (SD_KR02).
Kryteria oceniania
The attendance at classes.
Presentation of well written paper found in scientific literature and discussing it quality.
Literatura
The review articles in the internet which discus the methods of writing good papers.
