Interships 3 290-DP3-3IS
(1) Intership in the Doctoral School is carried out starting from the second year of learning, at the rate of 15 hours per academic year. A doctoral student may teach a maximum of 60 hours of classes per year as a part of the intership.
(2) Internships are carried out based on the schedule of classes at the University of Bialystok, in the first instance in the Department/Faculty of the supervisor. As a rule, the Doctoral Student conducts courses in person. In justified cases, he/she may implement the practice on a co-teaching basis, that is, he/she may participate in classes taught by another academic teacher. The supervisor decides on the form of implementation of practice.
(3) Credit for internship is given based on the protocol of lesson observation of classes performed by the subject teacher, the supervisor or/and the head of the Department/Department. The protocol of lesson observation is submitted by the doctoral student together with the annual report.

Efekty kształcenia
SKILLS, graduates are able to:
SD_UU02 - Using acquired knowledge, inspire and organize development of other people;
SD_UU03 - Plan classes and draft syllabuses for the courses at the level
of a school of higher education within the scope of their specialization in physical sciences;
SD_UU04 - Conduct or co-conduct didactic classes in a school of higher education with the use of modern didactic methods and tools;
SOCIAL COMPETENCES, graduates are ready to:
SD_KK02 - Self-criticise their scientific and didactic work;
SD_KK03 - Recognize the importance of knowledge in solving cognitive
and practical problems;
SD_KO01 - Promote scientific achievements by popularizing them in
professional and social contacts;

Kryteria oceniania
In the course of classes taught personally or co-taught by a doctoral student, lesson observation is carried out by the supervisor or subject coordinator. The lesson observation is based on the rules applied to research and teaching staff at UwB.
