In these classes we will discuss how social norms, social control, social institutions, family, friends, education, school and the state, affect safety and crime in given communities.In addition, we will focus on how the law offenses are perceived by the rest of society.

Aim of this classes is better understanding criminal behavior, social perception of crime and criminal justice system. In these classes we will discuss how social norms, social control, social institutions, family, friends, education, school and the state, affect safety and crime in given communities.

KP7_WG1 student has thorough knowledge of the specifics of sociological terminology and is able to define sociological terms independently

KP7_UW8 student has the ability to understand and analyse social phenomena in connection with contemporary sociological theories and with the use of related disciplines
