KNOWLEDGE. The graduate knows and understands:
-KP6_WG1 key terms, theories and research methods and techniques used in scientific disciplines examining international relations and the connections between these disciplines
-KP6_WG5 specificity of international relations on the political, economic and cultural level in a global and regional perspective
-KP6_WG7 most important norms and legal provisions regulating the functioning of entities operating in the international system
-KP6_WK1 basic trends in civilizational changes in the world
SKILLS:
-KP6_UW1 perceive problems on the international level and their historical context
-KP6_UW2 look for cause-effect relationships between international events
-KP6_UW3 interpret national and international events, referring to theoretical knowledge and historical conditions
-KP6_UW4 search, select, analyze and synthesize information using various sources, methods and tools (including advanced information and communication techniques) communication)
-KP6_UW5 use the applicable legal norms in order to assess specific actions at the international level
-KP6_UW6 assess the consequences of current international events based on historical knowledge and forecast the development of international situations
-KP6_UK2 provide substantive arguments and discussions, present opinions
Kryteria oceniania
The following criteria are taken into account before issuing the final grade:
- attendance at classes (you can have one unexcused absence),
- activity during classes (knowledge of the texts discussed, which can be checked with "passes", participation in discussions, group work, general involvement),
- final presentstion
Depending on applicable regulations, the final test or final examination may be conducted using electronic tools.
Students are required to comply with the Rector's Ordinance of the University of Białystok regarding the use of artificial intelligence systems in the teaching and learning process, as well as with the guidelines set out in this document. The document is available on the university’s website and has been provided by the course instructor.
