1. Knowledge:
- The student knows contemporary cultural, political, biomedical, ecological,
economic and religious problems and challenges that contemporary societies face.
- The student knows the Christian analysis of complex contemporary challenges and Christian methods of solving them
2. Skills:
- the student is able to indicate and correctly interpret regional, national and global problems and challenges in politics, science, culture, natural environment, social life and economy;
3. Social competences:
- the student is able to independently formulate opinions on basic economic, political, social, cultural, ecological and legal issues
- the student is able to deepen knowledge and develop research skills;
- is aware of the responsibility for preserving the cultural heritage and Christian tradition in Podlasie, Poland, and Europe.
- the student is able to correctly evaluate and comment on contemporary discoveries, phenomena and processes in various spheres of society
- the student is able to make a moral evaluation of contemporary challenges in the field of politics, science, economy, culture, natural environment

The student receives credit for the seminar based on participation and activity in the classes as well as properly prepared and delivered presentation

One absence per semester is allowed;, three unexcused absences constitute grounds for failing the course
