Knowledge, the graduate knows and understands:
KA6_WG1, basic concepts of the constituent disciplines of cognitive science and communication
KA6_WG7, the role of language and other semiotic systems as cognition and communication tools
Skills, the graduate is able to:
KA6_UK9, use the English language in accordance with the requirements specified for level B2 of the European System for the Description of Languages Education
KA6_UW7, use IT technologies and tools to obtain information and support cognitive and communication processes
KA6_UW9, carry out a logical analysis of a linguistic statement due to its cognitive and communicative value
KA6_UK2, communicate with specialists in cognitive disciplines using various communication channels and techniques - in Polish and English
Social competencies; the graduate is ready to:
KA6_KK1, adopt a critical attitude in scientific and philosophical discussions and recognizing the importance of knowledge and rational argumentation

Means of verification: oral or written tests, continuous assessment on the basis of class activity, individual or team presentations, discussions, periodic tests, written homework or classroom tasks.
Assessment criteria
Students receive a grade after the fourth semester of study. The course ends with an exam.
