A student
- can gather and integrate information from various sources (literature, Internet, data bases etc.); can interpret and critically evaluate
information as well as formulate conclusions and well justified opinions KA7_UU1;
- can elaborate a documentation of a project / research task and results of an experiment in detail, can prepare a report on the results
obtained KA7_UK4;
- can colabborate with other team members when working on a joint project (this applies only to diploma theses being part of some bigger
projects) KA7_UO2;
- understands the need for systematic learning of new trends in information technologies via scientific and popular computer science
journals as well as Internet KA7_KR1.
Methods of verification: presentation of the assumptions of the master thesis, presentation of the research results achieved, evaluation of
the progress in the preparation of the thesis, observation of a student's activity at classes.
Assessment criteria
Evaluation on the basis of observation of student's activity and progress in preparation of their master thesis, taking into account the
quality of the research results obtained by the student.
In the case of distant learning, a recommended e-learning platform and/or USOSmail will be used.
