A student
- can communicate in foreign language on B2+ level, with specialist terminology proper for informatics, in writing and orally KP7_UK1;
- can prepare and deliver a presentation on the project, or research topic in the area of informatics; can participate in discussion on the presentation KP7_UK2;
- can read the specialist literature in a foreign language and can communicate in a foreign language, including also communication in professional matters KP7_UK3;
- can gather and integrate information from various sources (literature, Internet, data bases etc.); can interpret and critically evaluate information as well as formulate conclusions and well justified opinions KP7_UU1;
- understands the need for continuous training and self-education KP7_UU2;
- defines and rank their activity carefully KP7_UU3;
- understands the need for systematic learning of new trends in information technologies via scientific and popular computer science journals as well as Internet KP7_KR1;

Assessment criteria
Passing with grade.
Passing on the basis of presentations, discussion and presence at the regular class meetings.
Assessment methods: Observation of students' activities at class meetings, listening to and watching of students' presentations, and discussion on the presentations.
Assessment criteria: (a) A student has to prepare and deliver three oral and visual presentations on given topics. (b) A student has to attend regular class meetings. Two unexcused absences (4h) are allowed.
In the case of distance learning, a recommended e-learning platform and/or USOSmail will be used.
