Learning outcomes
1 Knowledge:
Students will be familiar with contemporary cultural, political, biomedical, ecological problems and religious challenges that contemporary societies are facing
The student knows the Christian analysis of the complex challenges of today and the Christian methods of solving them
2 Skills:
- The student is able to identify and correctly interpret regional, national, and global problems and challenges in politics, science, culture, the environment, social life, and the economy;
- The student is able to correctly assess and comment on contemporary discoveries, phenomena and processes in various spheres of society.
-student is able to make a moral evaluation of contemporary challenges in the field of politics, science, economy, culture, natural environment
3 Social competences:
- the student is able to independently formulate opinions on basic economic, political, social, cultural, environmental and legal issues
- The student is able to expand knowledge and develop research skills;
- The student is aware of the responsibility for the preservation of cultural heritage and Christian tradition in Podlasie, Poland and Europe.
Assessment criteria
The student receives a passing grade for the seminar on the basis of participation and activity in class as well as his presentation.
One absence per semester is allowed, three unexcused absences give the basis for failing the course.
