Learning outcomes
In terms of KNOWLEDGE, the student:
1. knows and understands the definitions of the most important sociological terms regarding social macrostructures, and is capable of addressing the specific problems that the sociology of macrostructures deals with / S1_W01
2. knows and is capable of explaining the basic concepts within the sociology of social macrostructures / S1_W04
3. has knowledge about the functioning of certain contemporary and historical social macrostructures / S1_W05
4. has knowledge about various theoretical approaches to explaining the nature of social macrostructures / S1_W06
5. is capable of describing the connections between different social structures (micro, mezzo, macro) / S1_W12
6. has knowledge about different collective identities/ S1_W20
7. has knowledge about the theories of collective behaviour and social movements / S1_W21
8. understands the role of an individual in the making of various collectives on the level of social macrostructure / S1_W22
In terms of SKILLS, the student:
1. is capable of using various typologies of the macrostructural phenomena in order to describe them / S1_U01
2. is able to analyse a social structure with the use of the terminology connected to the sociology of social macrostructures / S1_U02
3. is capable of using various typologies of the macrostructural phenomena in order to analyse them / S1_U08
4. has the ability to make content-based arguments, using the work of different authors within the area of social macrostructures / S1_U18
5. is capable of preparing an oral presentation on a given topic connected to the problems of social macrostructures, using adequate literature / S1_U20
