Efekty kształcenia
1. Explains the basic principles and theories in the field of material chemistry. Uses terminology and chemical nomenclature related to materials such as polymer materials, ceramics, alloys, and special-purpose materials.
2. Explains the relationship between the molecular structure and the macroscopic properties of the surrounding matter. Lists the properties and methods of industrial production and analysis of chemical products and special-purpose materials
3. Uses basic computational methods in solving typical problems in the field of chemistry during laboratory classes on the synthesis and measurements of the properties of various materials. Student uses the basic principles of occupational health and safety as well as ergonomic methods and techniques needed in the organization of a workplace.
4. Student has the ability to synthesize, isolate, purify and polymers. Uses scientific apparatus and laboratory equipment when performing chemical experiments. Interprets the results of the conducted experiments, prepares reports.

Teaching methods:
• direct instruction (information lecture, explanatory consultations),
• practical (demonstration, laboratory exercises).
Pass conditions: the student is admitted to the exam after passing the laboratory
Forms of measurement / evaluation of student work:
Assessment of the student's preparation for laboratory classes - oral answer during exercises, practical assessment of tasks during classes; assessment of knowledge and skills related to the implementation of the laboratory task - documented in the report on the laboratory task and the test after passing the reports. Written and / or oral exam for the grade.
