Classes within the "practical grammar" component for the third year of bachelor's studies constitute an intermediate level course, the aim of which is to introduce students to a higher level of language proficiency. During the course, students expand and consolidate their knowledge and skills in the field of grammar covered by the program.

Prerequisites (description)

Knowledge of the German language at a level corresponding to the B1 standards. Student: - acquired the skills allowing him to independently prepare longer oral and written statements at B1 level; - developed the ability to present an orderly argumentation and counter-argumentation; selects appropriate examples; - developed an awareness of different styles and linguistic registers; - deepened his knowledge of the German language and culture in a contrastive approach; - acquired knowledge and skills in the field of basic grammar issues at the B1 level.

Assessment criteria

The final grade is influenced by: active participation in classes and results of control tests.
Class attendance is obligatory. Two absences per semester are allowed, each subsequent one must be made up for during consultations.
