The student will learn and understand
- KA6_WG1: the phenomena and processes that have taked place throughout the history of the English language
- KA_WG4: the terminology and basic methodological tools concerning historical linguistics
The student will be able to:
- KA6_UW6: select and implement appropriate methods and tools to historical text analysis
-KA6_UW7: properly select sources and information derived from them in the field of historical linguistics as well as evaluate, critically analyse and synthesize this information
-KA6_UK1: communicate using specialised terminology in the field of historical linguistics, including socio- cultural elements

Presentation, project, assessment of participation during classes
Two unexcused absences during the course are allowed; students with more absences need to consult their teacher for instructions on how to make up for them.
