Assessment criteria
Continuous assessment (oral and written homework, correct grammatical reading, correct reading of dialogues and texts, activity in class, group work), written test papers throughout the semester, papers, presentations; credit in the last class in the first and second semester on the basis of grades collected and activity in class.
One absence per semester is allowed. The second and third absences (in a semester) must be made up in consultations. Missing more than three classes does not qualify a student for credit. Exceptions are absences due to illness (an excuse - a doctor's certificate must be provided no later than a week after returning to the university).
Due to the nature of the subject and the form of classes, the student is required to work systematically throughout the semester. The semester grade is issued on the basis of partial grades collected throughout the semester (for this reason, corrections are not allowed in the last weeks of the semester; the minimum positive grade for the semester pass (3.0) is given to the student whose average of partial grades is higher than 2.7).
